Ted is an experienced digital media and healthcare investor, entrepreneur and operator. He is an investor in and active board member of several health IT companies with a focus on clinical decision support. In addition, he is a Senior Advisor with Elevation Partners, where he serves on the boards of Forbes Media and Marketshare. Ted serves as vice-chairman of Hope Street Group, a not-for-profit catalyzing change in education, healthcare and jobs policy.
Additionally, he is the former CEO of Overture Services, the pioneer of search advertising, which he successfully grew and sold to Yahoo!. Prior to Overture, he was an executive at CitySearch, and a consultant with McKinsey & Company and Mercer Management.
Ted holds a JD from Stanford University and a BA from Dartmouth College.
